Our Client based in Crawley requires an Assembly Technician (Mechanical) to join their expanding team.

 

Suitable candidates will have the following skills / experience / attributes:

 

• City & Guilds level 1&2&3 or HNC/HND, or apprenticeship (or equivalents) in a Mechanical discipline (or similar)

• Experience of assembly of mechanical components using fine tooling

• Some light electrical wiring skills

• Ability to maintain concentration at a high level, with meticulous quality checks throughout

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

 

The role will involve:

 

• Fine assembly of a range of bespoke sub- components.

• Precision quality control checks following computer production instructions and parameters

• Functionality test of products using bespoke testing equipment.

• Electrical safety testing

• Occasional Fault diagnosis and repair of returned goods

 

Full product training provided along with necessary tools and company uniform including boots.

 

Salary for 39.5 hrs per week £23-24k pa + company benefits.

 

Working hours are;

 

Mon 08:00 – 12:30

 

Tue – Fri 08:00 – 17:15

 

O/T at 1.5 basic hourly rate (over 39.5 basic hrs per week)
