Our Client based in Erith/Belvedere are seeking hard working and proactive Customer Service Tele Handlers.  Two positions are available with flexible working hours e.g. start at 9am or 12noon finish at 5.30pm or 8pm - full or part time.


Suitable candidates will have

  • worked in a customer service / sales type role
  • be used to speaking to customers to take orders, promote food products, upsell promotional items.  Items are anything you would find in a pizza/pasta takeaway restaurant.
  • Dealt with customers to sort out issues with their deliveries
  • Credit control
  • One role will also involve carrying out marketing activities for the company


The successful applicant must be a good team player, with excellent communication and organisational skills.  You must be motivated with a desire to achieve company targets and a high level of customer service.


  • To manage a territory of existing customers, alongside the external representative.
  • Each day work through a call list of customers, within a timely and orderly manner.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls and dealing with customer queries and order requirements.
  • Process orders accurately, with a detail to the promotions, pricing and stock availability and specials.
  • To complete pricing forms for new products ordered by customers.
  • Promote monthly promotions and assist in selling through discontinued and short dated product lines.
  • Actively review non-buyers and ensure effective communication to customer administration.
  • Liaise with goods inwards, transport and customer care.



The ideal candidate would have already worked in a customer service/telephone sales role and have an outgoing personality.


Priority would be given to candidate who have a second language e.g. Turkish
