Job Description

Our established Client based in Gillingham is looking for a Customer System Support Advisor to join their busy team.  The role would suit candidates with previous customer service, call centre or help desk experience.  Full training will be given to those without IT Help Desk experience – candidate must have an aptitude for IT.

 

The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience/attributes:

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft office - Word, EXCEL & Outlook
  • Previous office based customer service or helpdesk experience.

Key responsibilities:

  • To provide telephone support to customers on queries relating to use of software and software faults.
  • To take ownership of calls and follow through to completion.
  • To keep clients fully informed of progress in relation to open calls.
  • To accurately record details of actions and advice given in the SOE support database.
  • To accurately diagnose hardware related issues and escalate to third party hardware support.
  • To escalate serious issues in a timely manner.

Salary offered is c£18,500 pa

25 days annual holiday (plus bank holidays)
