Our Client, an established solicitors based in Bexleyheath, are looking to employ a Legal Secretary. Our client offers a large range of legal services and has been advising both commercial and private clients for a number of years.


Key attributes, qualities and experience required:


  • Recent practical experience as a legal secretary, preferably in conveyancing but not essential

  • Excellent IT and keyboard skills with working knowledge of legal case management software and Excel

  • Experience of handling client enquiries both face to face and by telephone

  • Self-motivated with great organisation skills

  • Good people skills with the ability to work in a demanding and fast paced environment

Key responsibilities:


  • Supporting fee earners in managing the secretarial work load

  • Dealing with clients and other contacts efficiently and promptly both in person and on the telephone

  • Adhering to all policies and procedures within the office

  • Managing your workload effectively and productively, confidently using your own initiative

  • Dealing with exchanges and completions and costing and closing client files
