Our Client based in Erith is seeking a Quality Assistant.  You will be required to assist the Quality team in ensuring the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) is upheld, and the future development of environmental and health & safety systems.

This role focuses on ensuring best-in-class levels of quality are maintained throughout the business, in addition to maintaining standards required to retain/gain certifications necessary to the business operations.

Product fault analysis, covering multiple material types, involving batch analysis, product modification to enhance Customer Experience is an important aspect of this role.

The successful applicant will ideally (but not essential) have experience of QMS internal auditing.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that processes needed for the QMS are implemented and maintained.
  • Co-ordinate continual improvements of the QMS, ensuring that the evidence of corrective and preventive actions taken are recorded and reviewed.
  • Manage the internal auditing programme and assist with external auditor programs.
  • Product fault analysis.
  • Assist with other Quality team duties, as deemed appropriate by the Quality Manager.

Skills and Attributes:

  • 2+ years' experience in a quality related field.
  • Experience of manufacturing would be beneficial.
  • Proficient PC skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word is expected.
  • Strong understanding of ISO 9001:2015.
  • Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work under strict timescales.
  • Effective communicator to internal and external stakeholders.
