Our Client based in South Kent requires a Quality Improvement Manager to evaluate business practices and identify ways to improve productivity, reduce costs and make best use of business resources.

 Suitable candidates will have the following skills / experience / attributes:

  •  Practitioner of the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI), IRCA (or equivalent)
  • Lead auditor ISO9001

  • Practical experience of implementing ISO9001, OHSAS18001/ISO45001 and/or ISO14001 in a multifunctional environment

  • Ability to be able to participate on an On Call Rota

  • Full, clean driving licence and use of own car 

The role will involve: 

  • Ensuring that the Integrated Management System is improved and maintained for all activities carried out with the organisations jurisdiction – inc. contractors & supply chain in accordance with the requirements of ISO90001, OHSAS18001/ISO45001 and ISO4001

  • Planning and managing an internal audit programme and liaising with certification and other external bodies

  • Responsible for updating the SHEQ policy and annual objectives and targets

  • Ensuring that the implementation, monitoring and reporting of Key Performance Indicators to measure the efficiency of products and services

  • Liaising with staff, customers, stakeholders, contractors and the supply chain on quality issues.


    Salary is £40-45k pa + discretionary bonus scheme. 25 days holiday + bank holidays and Pension.
