Our Client based in North Kent is seeking a Quality Assurance Auditor.  The role is permanent and full time, working rotating shifts – Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm / 2pm to 10pm.  They offer a great working environment and good list of benefits which includes: 17.5% shift allowance, subsidised restaurant, 3% non-contractual bonus +  more.


The main responsibilities for this position consist of full auditing of batch documentation and data within Oracle to ensure compliance with manufacturing standards for products made within the Company.


This position requires a diligent self-motivated person with good auditing skills and a good understanding of Oracle, the requirements of ISO9001 and cGMP; and Lean Techniques and problem-solving tools.  It would be desirable for the person to be educated to minimum of A level or equivalent; but must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience within a busy Quality Assurance Department.  The role also demands a high level of accuracy and good written and oral communication skills; as ultimately, this person will be responsible for releasing and approving batches and raw materials in a busy department that must provide an effective service to Production, Planning, Customer Care and Quality Control.  Other essential requirements for this role is the need for the person to be able to undertake data analysis and trending.


Essential skills/experience:

  • Experience of working in a QC or Analytical Laboratory

  • Experience of working within a QA environment (manufacturing)

  • ISO9000 & cGLP/GMP experience

  • Chemistry HNC/D or above or other science subject


    Other desirable skills:

  • Pharma industry experience

  • Auditing – possibly accredited

  • Experience of analytical techniques including wet chemistry, chromatographic and spectrophotometric techniques

  • Lean Sigma / Continuous improvement

  • Statistical analysis techniques

  • Experience of validation

  • Oracle
