Our Client based in Dover is seeking an Quantity Surveyor:

 

This position does allow some ‘Hybrid’ working, although you must be willing to come into the

office 2/3 days per week

 

Quantity Surveyor job description:

• We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor who will be responsible for administering
• multiple construction contracts within the DWDR programme of works.
• The projects are carried out using the NEC Form of Contract in conjunction with Project Managers and the wider DWDR delivery team.
• You will provide the necessary commercial services and support that enable the successful delivery of the Work Packages.
• You will also be responsible for updating the programme’s cost plan and risk registers to provide strategic oversight.

 

Quantity Surveyor skills and qualifications:

• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in Quantity Surveying.
• Good working knowledge and experience of the NEC forms of contract
• Knowledge and experience of, providing commercial support across multi-discipline projects including civils, M&E and minor building works.
• Be able to demonstrate experience of working within a project management environment
• High level of expertise in MS Office to include word and excel
• Demonstrate a keen appreciation of the options that may be used in commercial management of Contracts
• Understanding of ERP, tendering, contract-administration, and document sharing software
