Our Client is seeking an Final Inspection Technician, the main function will be to carry out pre delivery inspection of units working to a set list of tasks/checks. This will also involve a quality assessment of the unit. Given the safety critical nature of the role and the responsibilities involved it will require a focused and methodical mindset to be successful.
Salary: excellent package
Hours: 40 hours pw - flexible
Monday to Thursday (6am - 3pm or 7am to 4pm)
Friday (6am - 12pm or 7am to 1pm)
Benefits: 22 days holiday + BH, rising to 27 with service

Final Inspector key objectives, duties and responsibilities:
- Follow pre delivery inspection procedures accurately
- Ensuring units have been assembled to the correct specification and quality standards
- Compile reports and feedback to assembly team
- Fault finding / diagnostics (electrical/mechanical)
- Provide support as required for other department functions
- Working to set times and targets
- Checking units for compliance
- Upkeep of working area, equipment and tool (5S)
- Adopt and follow company’s health and safety procedures
- Very high standards of workmanship
Final Inspector key skills and experience:
- A great eye for detail
- Ability to follow processes accurately
- Able to identify potential issues
- Identify and challenge potential quality concerns
- Use of basic Windows systems
- Previous mechanical or assembly experience required (5yrs plus)
- Great communication skills
