Our Client based in Biggin Hill is seeking a Laser Machine Operator to join their team.
Salary: Negotiable + OT when required
Hours: 8.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday
some flexibility required to start/finish early in busy periods
Benefits: 20 days leave + BH, additional holiday paid for Xmas company closure
As the Laser Machine Operator your responsibilities will include:
Operate the laser cutting machine and other machinery used in the production process
Work from technical drawings and documentation
Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements
Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality
Producing quality components on time.
Assemble items as instructed by department supervisor
Lift raw materials manually or using forklift
Operate other machinery used in the fabrication area, or assist others
Adhere to the Quality management system ISO9001
Laser Machine Operator requirements:
Previous experience of operating a Laser machine within a fabrication environment
Knowledge of programming Nesting (Not essential)
