Our Client based near Guildford (GU6) is seeking an experienced Workshop Engineer.  The Hirer sells and hires equipment (manual handling equipment) to companies throughout the South of England.

 

Workshop Engineer job information:

Salary:            £25,000 - £30,000 pa depending on work experience/qualifications

Overtime        available when required – working days 40 hours per week

Location:        GU6 – static role – ideally a car driver

Workshop Engineer skills and experience required:

 

• Technical experience in maintaining and prepping new vehicles e.g., forklift trucks, agricultural machinery or similar equipment
• Able to accurately diagnose faults with machinery and make the necessary repairs
• Time served or qualified through experience
• Experience of working on mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
• Good team player
• Self-motivated
• Good time management
• Good understanding of H&S in the work place
