Our Client is seeking a Health, Safety, Quality and Environment Administrator, the role is offered as a one-year contract covering maternity leave.

Location:                     Sittingbourne

Salary:                         £19,443.00 pa + benefits – paid monthly

Hours:                         8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday

Health, Safety, Quality and Environment Administrator experience/qualifications

  • Excellent administration skills with strong IT skills including good working knowledge of Microsoft office, Excel and Word.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport immediately and good organisations skills. 
  • Strict attention to detail and accuracy is essential in this role as well as experience of good quality data entry.
  • Ideally be familiar with Health and Safety legislation.
  • Be familiar with Quality Management systems and understand what they are for.
  • Some experience of training or presenting to others (e.g., H&S inductions).
  • Energetic with a commitment to the job is essential.

 

Health, Safety, Quality and Environment Administrator main Responsibilities

To support the Health, Safety, Quality and Environment Manager in ensuring the Company complies with legal obligations in terms of Health, Safety and Environmental Legislation and in particular record keeping.

To ensure all administration tasks are undertaken in time and in accordance with the site policies and procedures and legislative requirements. To provide administration to ensure the Company’s Integrated Management System is maintained and updated as required.

To ensure all training records relevant to health, safety, quality and environment are kept up to date.
