Our Client based in Faversham has  an exciting opportunity to join a busy sales team.

As an Internal Sales Exec you will join a professional team of sales professionals working in a fast paced, high pressured telephone sales environment.


Working from 6.30am to 2pm each day (early finish available once work is completed).


The roles of Internal Sales Exec is offered on a full time (office based), permanent basis.  Priority would be given to any candidate who has an understanding the principals of wholesaling and/or computerised stock control.  For this role you need the desire and ability to call clients and sell products at the correct price.


The Internal Sales Exec’s daily duties:

First part of the day is calling suppliers to gain details of what fresh food products are available that day, logging this information accurately on the internal trading platform e.g., quantity available and correct price.

The work then leads to calling your regular Customers discussing what products are available that day, using the trading platform/database price information to make the best sale available.  Working with the Sales Admin team to book orders with suppliers, completing the paperwork trail.  Continuously updating the database with orders taken so stock levels are accurate.

The last part of the day is completing all admin relating to orders taken that day.


This is a very busy demanding role; suitable candidates will work well under pressure.  You should be very organised and calm whilst controlling lots of information. 


The working environment:  Think ‘ole skool’ stock exchange – first part of the day is calm then it’s ‘sell, sell, sell’ until al the products purchased in the first part of the day are sold.


Other duties will be to build your client base by calling lapsed Clients and source new Clients.  To be successful in this role you will have excellent relationship building skills and the desire to succeed.


The candidate: Internal Sales Exec

Candidates will need to be tenacious, organised and be able to think/act quickly.

Candidates should be computer literate and having an understanding of basic Maths is essential e.g., understanding what weights of products v price e.g., when a case of product is bought that case may contain 5-6 bags that are sold per kilo etc.


The office environment is extremely busy at times, but the team work well together and are looking for someone to join in with the office camaraderie.


The pay equates to £20-22,000 pa + commission.
