Our Client based in Erith is seeking a part time IT Support Technician. The part time  IT Support Technician role is offered as a permanent position (office based) position working Monday to Friday, 5pm to 10pm.  The role is working as part of a busy team reporting directly to the IT Manager.  Graduate or apprenticeship applicants will be considered for this role.

IT Support Technician Key requirements

The role of the Junior IT Support is to assist the IT Manager to ensure the company’s internal IT systems (hardware and software) are functioning and operational 24/7.

The role will focus on supporting key operational functions between the hours of 5pm and 10pm, Monday – Friday, in addition to maintaining all onsite and offsite IT hardware.

IT Support Technician Main Responsibilities:

  • First-line internal & external user support on all hardware and software issues.
  • Co-ordinate upgrades / installation with the IT Manager and external IT support partners.
  • Liaise with all internal departments.
  • Any other duties deemed appropriate to the role.

Skills and Attributes:

  • To be considered for this role you must have experience in IT support experience or be studying for an IT related qualification.
  • Proficient PC skills required.
  • Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work within timescales.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all functions.
  • Knowledge of Office 365
  • Basic Network connectivity (LAN)
  • Problem Solving and fault finding.
  • Installing and configuring PC’s
  • Windows 10
