Our manufacturing client based on the Isle of Sheppey is looking for an Office Administrator. The role is permanent working C30 hours per week.
Location: Queensborough (no remote working)
Salary: £18,000 to £22,000 pa pro rata
Hours: working 30 hours between
8.30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday
8.30am to 1.30pm on Friday
Ideally suitable Office Administrator candidates will have the following skills and experience:
- At least 5+ years in a similar role - manufacturing - fast paced environment
- Proficient in the administration process, customer organisation, and applying best practice
- Consistent track record of customer service overachievement (KPI’s)
- Team player.
- Able to excel in a busy environment, able to maintain order in a dynamic environment
- Excellent problem solver
- IT literate - Word, Excel, Outlook etc
Office Administrator duties will include:
- Reviewing, verifying, processing, collaborating and confirming customer purchase orders (contract review), ideally within 24 hours of receiving
- Answering customer purchase order queries swiftly by coordinating with the Production Manager - track agreed actions
- Collaborating with the Production Manager to define, monitor, and strengthen the accuracy of delivery lead times—to satisfy orders on-time, in-full (OTIF)
- Working with the production and logistics departments, subcontractors, and raw material suppliers to ensure critical production materials are available when required
- Monitoring and reporting relevant information to management, including sales order reports
- Finalising production works orders into stock—and closing associated sales order lines
- Picking customer items, generating delivery notes, and raising invoices together with customer and customs specific information
- Creating an extraordinary experience for our customers by serving as a customer advocate—building deep, long-term, and authentic relationships from the start
- Answering customer queries swiftly, and tracking agreed actions
- Leveraging customer management tools (CRM), to help the co track and adjust activities
