Our Client based in Tonbridge is seeking a Project Coordinator to join their team on full time, permanent basis.

 

Salary:             £27,000 - £30,000 pa DOE

Hours:             core hours 8.30am to 5pm, flexible working pattern available

(no remote working)

Benefits:          25 days annual leave + BH

 

 

Project Coordinator main responsibilities:

  • Manage and be accountable for all allocated projects to ensure internal and external expectations are met with accuracy and clarity.
  • Interpret and collate complete specifications for all projects including finishes and electrical specifications.
  • Co-ordinate costing procedure with internal departments and to ensure timely delivery of information to our customers.
  • Preparing budgetary proposals, quotations with terms and conditions.
  • Co-ordinate & manage all aspects of Contract customer orders through system to agreed customer deadlines.
  • Arrange client samples as required.
  • Co-ordinating drawings and costings, from client drawings through to production drawings; liaising with the client and technical until full specification has been agreed.
  • Initiate and manage project tracker and other key project management tools, ensuring they are accurate and up to always date.
  • Organise and lead cross functional, inter-company project meetings to gather data, highlight concerns and ensure everyone is kept informed of progress.
  • Ensure margins are maintained throughout the project, highlighting any changes to the Commercial Director.
  • Liaise with customer on deliveries - agreeing dates and logistics.
  • Arrange collections with courier companies, preparing all paperwork as necessary which may include packing lists and applicable customs documentation.
  • Follow up with client post-delivery managing the snagging list until the client is satisfied.
  • Ensure payments are received in line with the agreed payment terms.
  • Create customer accounts on company ERP system.

 

 

Suitable Project Coordinator candidates will possess the following skills/experience:

  • Experience in co-ordinating large-scale projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
