Our Client, an established manufacturer is currently seeking a number of Electronic Assembly Operatives.
Salary: £20,888.40 pa inc shift allowance (£10.30 ph)
Location: Gillingham
Hours: Monday to Friday – rotating shifts - 39 hours per week
Week one: 6am – 2pm, Monday to Thursday, 6am – 1pm Friday
Week two: 2pm-10pm, Monday-Thurs and 1pm - 8pm Friday
Benefits: 24 days leave PA, pension, life assurance, quarterly and annual bonus schemes
Offers of employment will be made following successful interview or attendance of a paid assessment day and passing internal dexterity test.
Candidates must prove they are not colourblind by completing an online test.
Suitable Electronic Assembly Operatives will have the following skills/experience:
- Hand soldering
- PCB assembly or similar work experience
- Good hand to eye coordination – previous small part assembly essential
- Able to stand for whole shift
- Good verbal communication skills
- Able to follow instructions
- Good concentration
- Good team player
- Worked similar shift pattern in the past
- Ideally own transport
This Electronic Assembly Operatives job role will involve standing for long periods on the production line. Candidates must be happy to use hand tools and equipment.
Previous experience in small parts assembly is essential.
